i am going to try to write down some of the aus i have for the strange case. i have not finished this page yet sorry about that
basic premise is sometime before the murder and such hyde got stuck, the potion stoped working, and left with the will jekyll wrote. ive written this fic about it as well. this is a very fun au to me
it starts some time before the murder, after jekyll starts having problems with the potion, transforming at night and having trouble going back to his original form. at some point, the potion stops working all together, and he become trapped as hyde.
three months pass, hyde left alone. nobody likes him and many blame him for the 'death' of the doctor, and he ends up very isolated. he tried many times to recreate the potion, but failed. utterson visits with the sole intent of getting his legal buisness done, finalising the will.
utterson, after the will is sorted, visits hyde on the occasion, making him the only person hyde really ever sees. after their meetings go on, utterson eventually finds out about the whole jekyll hyde situation, and tries to help hyde as best he can.
i really like this au because 1) im just a big fan of hyde and utterson interactions 2) i need to give hyde the worst time ever. i also do just enjoy exploring 'what if' senarios and wondering how they would act in specific situations.
